Basic information about LEGOLAND JAPAN HOTEL

Emma
Emma
Legoland Hotel is a relatively new hotel that opened in April 2018.

From the exterior, it is full of the world of LEGO! Furthermore, once you enter the hotel, the world of LEGO bricks spreads from the entrance, and there are many fun tricks even until you enter your guest room.

The hotel is about 25 minutes from Nagoya Station on the Aonami Line.

The nearest station is Kinjofuto Station. From the station, it was about a 10-minute walk with my child.

The LEGOLAND Japan Hotel is basically divided into the following four room types, although according to the official website, each floor has a different theme.

There are a total of 252 guest rooms, including suites.

Room Type Size Features
Theme 30㎡ For 4 people. The most reasonable room.
Premium 30㎡ For 4 people. Wallpaper and decorations
that express the world of LEGO more than the Theme.
Premium Plus 30㎡ For 5 people. One more bed for a child than Premier.
Suite 45㎡ For 5 people. To Premier Plus facilities, kids Playroom is added to the Premier Plus facilities.

I stayed in the Pirates Premium Room.

The room layout is as follows.

(Source: LEGOLAND HOTEL > Pirates Premium Room)

The room with bunk beds for children was on the right side as you entered, and the master bedroom was across from the bathroom and toilet.

The room is 30 square meters in size.

It was spacious enough for a family to spend time together.

Emma
Emma
We had a 4 year old and a 1 year old with us, and the 4 year old slept alone on the bottom side of the children's bunk bed, and the 1 year old slept with us on the adult queen bed.

The room key was a cute one with lots of Lego characters on it!

I'll go on to show you the actual floor and room next!

Pirates' floor

Legoland Hotel has different themes for different floors, and the floor we stayed at this time was the "Pirates" themed floor.

Incidentally, there are also "Pirates", "Kingdom", "Adventure", "LEGO Friends", and "LEGO Ninjago".

When you get off the elevator, you are already in the world of Pirates!

The torch light at the entrance of the room is also made of LEGO!

Even before you enter the room, you will be immersed in the world of LEGO!

Bedroom

From here, I would like to introduce the room.

I stayed in the "Pirates Premier Room (1 queen bed + bunk beds for children)" room on the 3rd floor.

I upgraded one room from the Theme room type because I was interested in the decorations and wallpaper that represented the Lego world.

The king bed was provided with a bed guard that I had requested in advance.

From a different angle, this is what it looked like. There were bed guards in two directions, so I was able to put the bed down safely.

A view of the bed from the front. Since the theme of the floor is "Pirates", the interior is full of pirates.

I slept surprisingly well in spite of such colorful bed. (LOL).

The bed is a queen size, so it was spacious even for 2 adults and a 1 year old.

Next to the bed is an air purifier that we requested in advance.

It is a type that can also humidify the air, so we recommend renting one during the dry season.

On the side table on one side of the bed is a light switch and an alarm clock. On this side there were electric switches for the bedroom and the whole room.

On the other side of the side table, switches for the reading light and the foot light.

Emma
Emma
There was an outlet on either side, which was convenient for charging my phone.

A table next to the bed, and a set of chairs.

Opposite the bed, there is a TV. It is wall-mounted and neat. A brown trash can was placed under the TV stand.

The premium ream had "wallpaper and decorations that represent the world of LEGO rather than the theme," so I checked the bedroom decorations,

There were Lego block vases, candle holders, plates, etc!

This is a skull made of LEGO bricks!

Beetle? Maybe.

There were dragonflies too.

Emma
Emma
I observed them for a while, wondering how they were made. It was a decoration that even adults could enjoy.

The telephone in the room is also made of LEGO!

The memo was also Lego of course.

Children's room

One thing that is quite unique about the LEGOLAND Japan Hotel  is that all the rooms are designed for children!

And the children's rooms are full of tricks that children enjoy!

This is a view of the bunk beds.

The recommended age for the upper bunk is 6 years and up. The lower bunk was 2-5 years old.

There was also a light at the bedside of each bed. Lego lizards on the wall!

Opposite the bed was a TV.

On the TV, you can watch all the Lego movies you want! The kids were very happy!

There is a box of Duplo blocks under the TV.

A board is attached to the bottom of the TV stand, and the blocks can be attached and played with!

My kids enjoyed attaching the Duplo blocks and watching the Lego Movie.

It was a dreamy experience for them to watch the Lego Movie while lying on the bunk bed.

By the way, the bunk beds were big enough for me (161 cm) to lie down and still have a little room to spare.

It seems a little narrower than a single bed, but if a small child does not want to sleep alone on a bunk bed, the parents can use it to sleep on one of them.

Next to the TV stand, there is a treasure box! This is also installed in all rooms.

It is locked when you enter the room.

The instructions for opening the treasure box were placed on the TV stand. The answer to each quiz is the number of the key to the treasure box.

If the answer is correct, the key will open the lock!

Inside were two bags of Lego City and Ninjago sets. The kids were so excited, they didn't expect to get Legos in their room.

Emma
Emma
It was a very nice touch to be able to participate in a quiz and have fun while also getting a gift!

The mini bar

Here is a shot of the mini bar. Perhaps because many people with children stay here, the tableware was made of plastic instead of ceramic.

It is safe to use even if you have small children!

The selection of coffee and tea was like this.

The cocoa and coffee were in LEGOLAND packaging!

There was also free water, hot water kettle and ice pail.

There are no paid drinks in the fridge. You can rest assured that there is no such thing as "I mistakenly drank a charged drink! You can rest assured that there is no such thing.

The hotel does not have a store selling drinks.

If you want to drink something other than free water, coffee, or tea, we recommend that you buy it at a convenience store at the nearest station, Kinjofuto Station.

The water area

All of the water features at the Legoland Japan Hotel  are unit baths, except for the suites.

Next to the toilet is a washbasin. There was a step stool for children.

The hair dryer was Panasonic.

Amenities in Lego packaging on the washbasin. Toothbrushes were also provided for the number of adults and children.

This is the bathtub. It was spacious enough for me to stretch out my legs and soak in.

However, with children, the unit bath was a bit small and difficult to use. If you prefer to have a place to wash up, I would recommend a suite room, although the price is a little higher.

The shampoos were in large bottles.

I think it was a small tube that you can take home before, but it seems to have changed.

The toilet is next to the bathtub and is a bidet type. A toilet seat for children was provided upon request.

The closet

The closet at the Legoland Japan Hotel is located just across from the water closet. There were plenty of hangers.

There was also a decent supply of hangers for the kids.

On the floor of the closet, there are slippers for the number of people. Next to it was a baggage rack for suitcases, etc.

Please note that although this is the LEGOLAND Japan Hotel, there are no pajamas for both adults and children.

Instead, there are two types of yukata, one for adults and one for children, in the drawer of the TV stand.

Emma
Emma
The children's yukata are about the size of an elementary school student, and those with small children are advised to bring their children's pajamas.

The safe in the room is a digital one, which is designed to be locked with a 4-digit PIN number.

The rooms at LEGOLAND JAPAN HOTEL are compactly equipped with all the necessary facilities while having many gadgets that children will enjoy.

What is the view from a LEGOLAND Japan Hotel room?

My room has a Makers Pier view at the back of the hotel.

If you have a room with a view, the view from the room will be Legoland! If you want to see LEGOLAND from your room, I recommend you to get a room with a view.
