The first thing you need to know about staying at Halekulani Okinawa is that there are two different wings: Beach Front Wing and Sunset Wing.

No matter which wing you stay in, all rooms have an ocean view!

Halekulani Okinawa's Beach Front Wing is suitable for families with children

The Beach Front Wing overlooks Halekulani's iconic and famous Orchid Pool.

The Beachfront Wing is a 10-story building and is located right on the beach (Itubu Beach).

I stayed in a room on the 4th floor of the Beach Front Wing, a short distance from the pool.

It was winter time, so there were no people swimming in the pool, but if you have a room near the pool in the summer, you might be bothered by the noise of people using the pool.

I was thrilled to see this Orchid Pool, which is also in Hawaii! There is also a kiddie pool next to the Orchid pool.

The Beach Front Wing is popular with families, including those with children, as 4 of the 5 pools are near this Beach Front Wing.

I actually saw many families with children in the Beach Front Wing when I stayed there.

View from our room. You can also see the beach (Ibube Beach) just a short walk away. There was a yoga class in the square in front of the room.

The rooms on the 4th floor are rather close to the people outside. You can see each other if you are out on the balcony. If you are concerned about it, I think it is better to have a room on a higher floor.

Even though Beach Front Wing is suitable for families with children, it is a first-class Halekulani hotel. You can enjoy Halekulani's world view and resort atmosphere to the fullest.

Halekulani Okinawa's Sunset Wing is suitable for adults

The Sunset Wing is a five-story building with a long horizontal structure.

The blue ocean and beautiful sunsets are the main selling point of the Sunset Wing.

There is only one pool in Sunset Wing. This is the Ocean Terrace pool. This pool has age restrictions and you must be at least 16 years old to use it.

The Sunset Wing also has a club lounge where you can spend an elegant time. Only Premier Club Ocean Front and Villa guests can use this lounge.

Only Premier Club Ocean Front rooms have access to the Club Lounge. Other standard room guests do not have Club Lounge access.

This is a bit of a surprise, but please note that suite rooms do not have club lounge access either.

The Sunset Wing is a space to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature. The Sunset Wing is the one where you can feel more of the great outdoors.

Compared to the Beach Front Wing, the overall atmosphere is more relaxed.

There were many mature couples, couples, and other adults enjoying themselves in the Sunset Wing. I rarely saw families with children in the Sunset Wing.

Halekulani Okinawa also has two types of villas with five buildings. They are equipped with private pools and natural hot springs. I would like to stay there someday in my lifetime (lol).

By the way, Beach Front Wing and Sunset Wing are connected by a passageway and you can come and go as you please.

At Halekulani Okinawa, check-in is at the Beach Front Wing, Sunset Wing Wing, and the respective wing lobbies.
