This time I stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya, the sixth Courtyard brand hotel in Japan 🌟.

There are two Courtyard by Marriott hotels in Tokyo, two in Osaka, and one in Hakuba, but Nagoya is the first in the Tokai region!

In this article, I will introduce you to the rooms, hotel and services at Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya ✨.

Bottom line, Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya is conveniently located, yet it's quiet and serene!

The rooms are spacious enough for a relaxing stay. The hotel also offers a wide range of services for its guests.

By the way, I love to travel, both in Japan and abroad, and I travel a little whenever I have time.

This article will give you an idea of the actual room atmosphere and amenities at the Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya, as well as what kind of exclusive guest services are available👍.

About Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya

When was Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya established?

Courtyard by Marriott is a member of the Marriott Group, one of the world's leading hotel chains ✨ and Nagoya is the sixth Courtyard hotel in Japan👍.

Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya opened in March 2022.

It is also a very new hotel, and as soon as you enter, the modern atmosphere jumps out at you.

The design is clean and simple, yet elegant and stylish. The lobby is also as elegant as you can see ✨.

The interior of the hotel is also inspired by the culture and nature of the nearby "Horikawa River" ✨.

By the way, it was so nice to stroll along the Horikawa River on the way to Nagoya Castle from the hotel!
We stayed just in time for the Christmas season, so the entrance was also decorated in Christmas style .

Where is Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya located?

Courtyard by Marriott is located in the center of Nagoya City.

From Nagoya Station, it is about 5 minutes by cab. Even if you walk, it takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel.

Downtown Sakae is also about 5 minutes away on foot.

The nearest subway station is Fushimi Station, which is very convenient ✨.

All major areas of Nagoya are within walking distance, so it's easy to plan your time for sightseeing or business 👍.

We did most of our wandering on foot .
Nearby is the Nagoya City Science Museum and the TV Tower!

We loved the fact that the hotel is conveniently close to major areas, yet the area around the hotel is calm and not too busy 💡.

It's perfect for both sightseeing and business, so I highly recommend it as a candidate for your stay in Nagoya 😁.

I'll get right to it!

The room we actually stayed in (Premier Room Twin)

The room we stayed in this time was a Premier Room Twin on the 11th floor.

When you enter the room, you are greeted by a large double bed x twin!

Looking out from the 11th floor, we could see Nagoya station! It's close to a major train station after all👍.

The double bed is very spacious and comfortable!

And this is an original Simmons bed, so it looks like they've paid attention to comfort ✨.

And of course the comforter is a down comforter!

Light and warm!

There is also a table space for relaxing on the bed 👍.

By the way, the cushion cover is made of Arimatsu shibori, a traditional Nagoya craft.

When you stay at a Marriott Group hotel, you can find local items in the room, and I love that kind of thoughtfulness.

Plenty of electrical outlets around the beds!

There are outlets between the beds, beside the beds, everywhere!

No charging battles 😁.

There is also a big TV on the wall 📺.

There were 4 bottles of bottled water in the room, as well as coffee and tea available ☕️

I had a Nespresso and it was quite good 😁.

Each hotel in the Marriott family has a different coffee taste, so even the machine coffee is worth enjoying.

The Premier Room Twin room had a bathtub in addition to a shower 🛀.

Amenities included bath salts so you can have a relaxing bath time!

It was cold season this time, so I took a bath to warm up 🛁.

The bath salts had a nice pop valerian herbal scent!

There was also a Paula's "Hitotoiki" skin care set for women.

It looks like Japanese cosmetics with domestic ingredients such as yuzu and ginger 💡.

The area around the washbasin is also simply designed, giving it an open feel!

It is so open that some may think, "What are you going to do when you take a bath ❗️❓". But don't worry 😁.

There is a sliding blindfold that can be properly partitioned so you can have your own private space.

Of course there was a hair dryer by Salonia, a Marriott Group hotel staple!

I always use it, but I recommend it because of its strong airflow and short drying time!

They have one-piece pajamas so you don't have to bring your own 👍.

Also the bathroom is very clean 😁.

The entrance hall is also spacious, with space for clothes and luggage storage, even in winter when there are a lot of jackets.

Hotels tend to cut down on this kind of space, but I think it is really important to separate the space for relaxing from the space for luggage and clothing. ❗️

It is because of this separation of space that the hotel is able to provide an extraordinary experience.

For those who come here for sightseeing, I especially recommend the larger rooms 🌟.

I was able to spend a very relaxing time in the room with enough space to unwind and a bathtub attached to the room.

Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya Offers for Guests

Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya had a special offer for guests👍.

You don't have to be a Marriott member to take advantage of this!

It was a great opportunity to take advantage of the special offer .

Happy Hour

This time I took advantage of Happy Hour!

This service is available at "The Lounge" next to the lobby on the first floor of the hotel between 17:00 and 19:00.

By the way, "The Lounge" is not a hotel lounge but a restaurant. (Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya does not have a hotel lounge.)

For 500 yen, we could have a drink of our choice and homemade mixed nuts.

There are many kinds of drinks available: beer, wine, cocktails, and soft drinks 🍷🍺🍹.

Just at this time of the day, there are few people and you can enjoy your drink slowly✨.

William(Rebecca boyfriend)

We liked it so much we ended up using it two days in a row!

This "The Lounge" is open from 5:00 p.m. for bar time, but during daytime, the restaurant is popular for its desserts, sandwiches (light meals), and carefully selected coffees and teas that take advantage of seasonal ingredients made by the patissier.

Rebecca

Afternoon tea seems to be especially popular, and many people who are not staying at the hotel were using the restaurant!

The Lounge Business Hours

  • Day time: 8:00 - 17:00
  • Bar Time: 17:00 - 23:00 (LO 22:30)

Other Offers

Other offers include the Palau Dinner Set at CRUST and Wine Journey 💡.

  • Palu Dinner Set at "CRUST
Your choice of an individual dish, drink, and soup at a great price 🍽.
  • Wine Journey
All-you-can-drink 90 minutes with 10 kinds of wines carefully selected by sommelier for 3,000 yen 🍷.

Next time I have the chance, I'd like to try the all-you-can-drink wine!

Summary

  • Great location for both business and pleasure! Within walking distance of major Nagoya spots!
  • New hotel opening in March 2022
  • 5 types of rooms to choose from! (We recommend a spacious room on the upper floors)
  • Rooms with bathtubs are available
  • Great offers for guests!

I had no complaints about the convenience of the hotel, especially in terms of location.

There are many restaurants around, and you can walk to enjoy Nagoya's specialties outside of the hotel.

Isn't it great to be able to walk home after a fun day of drinking and eating?

There is also a convenience store nearby, so it was just so convenient!

Also, the hotel surroundings and rooms are calm and relaxing.

The location was perfect for enjoying Nagoya and the hotel by itself ✨.

Please consider Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya as a candidate for your stay in Nagoya 😁.
