The breakfast buffet at the SAILFISH CAFE at the Renaissance Resort Okinawa is a very popular breakfast venue, as it offers a wide variety of dishes and Okinawan-style cuisine. Many of the dishes are easy for children to eat, so it is recommended for families with small children.
Also, on days when there are many guests staying at the hotel, the waiting time can be long, so it is recommended to enter the restaurant early.
By the way, I have been in the travel industry for about 20 years. I have always researched and used various services and trends in travel, both for business and personal use.

Basic information about the breakfast venue "SAILFISH CAFE" at Renaissance Resort Okinawa
The SAILFISH CAFE at the Renaissance Resort Okinawa is located on the first floor, where the hotel lobby is located.
It is located just off the elevator, making it an easily accessible venue with breakfast for those with children.
Breakfast details are as follows.
Breakfast Details
- Time: 6:30-10:00 (some days 7:00-10:00 depending on the season)
- Location: 1st floor of the hotel
- Menu: Japanese and Western buffet
It was after 8:00 when I entered the restaurant, but the restaurant was full at that time. Wait time was about 30 minutes.
It seems that on days when there are many guests staying at the Renaissance Resort Okinawa, there is a rather long wait. The same was true of the other breakfast rooms.
I think it would be hard for those with toddlers to wait for a long time, so one of the family members might go ahead and check the crowd.
Report your name and the number of people and you will be put on a waiting list.

We will now introduce you to the dishes that were actually placed on the table.
A look at the drinks
Here are some juices. There were many kinds of juices. There are also Okinawan juices such as "Seekwasa".
There was also a fresh juice corner on the terrace where they squeeze real orange juice and grapefruit.
Plastic cups for children were also available.
This is a coffee machine. Tea packets of tea are also available, and there is a wide variety here.
There are many kinds of coffee cups in different colors, and it was fun to choose.
Fruits and yogurt are in the case.
Cut fruits and other fruits were placed in a case.
I looked around for yogurt to eat, but yogurt was also in this case. The bottom row is yogurt.
For some reason, there was a fruit punch in the salad section.
The fruit punch is in a big bowl. Both of my kids enjoyed it.
Salads and appetizers
As I mentioned earlier, there is a salad area next to the fruit punch. I would have liked to see a little more variety.
Ohitashi (boiled vegetables) and other Japanese side dishes.
As in Okinawa, there was mozuku seaweed in the front and island tofu in the back.
There was also rice and miso soup, so your wish for Japanese food will be satisfied.
A look at the hot side dishes
Here is a picture of hot side dishes. It is nice to see that the hot side dishes included dishes unique to Okinawa!
In the silver bowl is "kachuyu", Okinawan style bonito soup.
Potatoes and sausages were also on the line.
This is the egg station. You can get omelets made in the live kitchen.
When ordering an omelette, you hand in a small plate with your choice of four ingredients (pork, tuna, olives, or bitter melon) placed in front of you, and the chef will add cheese at the end and bake it for you.
Other egg dishes included fried eggs and egg omelet with artha.
There were many Okinawan-style dishes here.
Here is a shot of the actual dish in the center. It is hard to tell, but it is "Okinawa yakisoba" and "fu champuru". The Okinawa yakisoba was Okinawan soba and was very satisfying!
My husband raved about the fu champuru. Please try it if you can find it.
Breads
Bread section. There were various kinds of breads.
There are some Okinawan breads such as red sweet potato danish and melon bread in the shape of turtle.
Breads are baked in the oven in the back and come out rapidly because of the fast turnover! I was happy to have freshly baked bread.
This one is a little different. Fruit Sandwich, Egg and Spinach Bucket, Taco Meat & Burger. The taco meat & burger was a little spicy for my kids.
This is the butter and jam section. There were some odd butters such as mango butter and pineapple butter. I personally recommend the mango butter as it is excellent.
The bread is hotel quality and very tasty, and as a bread lover, I was very satisfied!
The dishes are made of plastic, so even children are safe!
Maybe because there are many children using the restaurant, the dishes are made of plastic, so it is safe for children to use. It was very cute to put a turtle or a smiling face in the pan!
