This trip was to Hiroshima 🚄.
We stayed at the "Sheraton Grand Hotel Hiroshima"✨.
The "Sheraton Grand Hiroshima" was certified as one rank higher category from "Sheraton" in June 2016.
You must be wondering what the rooms look like at the higher ranked and more sophisticated "Sheraton Grand Hotel Hiroshima" 😁.
In conclusion, the rooms at the "Sheraton Grand Hiroshima" are open and spacious with a panoramic view of Hiroshima.
There is plenty of space to relax and spend time in your room, and you can rest comfortably after a long day of sightseeing in Hiroshima ✨.
By the way, I love traveling, both in Japan and abroad, and have stayed in many different cities and hotels! Since 2021, I have been enjoying traveling while using Marriott-affiliated hotels whenever I can find the time.
This article will give you an idea of the actual room atmosphere, amenities and facilities at the Sheraton Grand Hiroshima.
Where is the Sheraton Grand Hiroshima located?
The Sheraton Grand Hiroshima is only a one-minute walk from the Shinkansen Exit of JR Hiroshima Station, the gateway to Hiroshima👍.
Once you exit Hiroshima Station, you will see the Sheraton Grand Hiroshima rising in front of you!
It is connected to the station by a pedestrian bridge, so even if it rains, you don't need an umbrella. ☂️
The entrance on the second floor looks like this.
It is simple but clean!
Rooms at Sheraton Grand Hotel Hiroshima (upgrades and room types)
Room Upgrade
We were very grateful for the upgrade again 👏👏👏👏👏.
The room was on the 19th floor❗️✨I was so excited to see the city of Hiroshima from so high up❗️!
We were upgraded to a "King Corner Room" ✨.
There are 4 King Corner Rooms on the 19th floor and higher on each floor.
They are "corner" rooms, so four corners. The view is especially beautiful in the upper times rooms.
Room Types at Sheraton Grand Hiroshima
At the Sheraton Grand Hiroshima, guest room floors are located from the 9th to the 21st floor.
There are 9 room types, including high-ranked rooms.

Room Type | Size | Bed | Floor |
Club Corner (Suite) | 80㎡ | King size or 2 Queen size | Corner on 20th and 21st floor, 4 rooms |

デラックス | 35㎡ | King or 2 Queen size | 19th floor or lower |
The 20th and 21st floors are the "Club Level" rooms.
The number of "Club Level" rooms is very small, so they are rarely available. Only one "Club Suite" has a king-size bed.
Other than that, there are rooms with "1 king size" and "2 queen size" beds.
What is the atmosphere of a "King Corner Room"?
Let us introduce the "King Corner Room" on the 19th floor where we actually stayed this time.
Bedroom
When you enter the room, the large glass window is very impressive ✨.
The room is spacious enough in length and width, and I felt "spacious✨" the moment I entered!
The bed sheets are clean and I thought "I'm going to have a good night's sleep" as soon as I entered the room (lol) 👍The bed is a king size 👍.
There is also enough space at the bedside.
The Sheraton Grand Hiroshima clock was also of the type that you can charge your phone just by placing it ✨.
And from the "King Corner Room" you can see the whole Hiroshima city!
We were on the 19th floor so we could see Hiroshima from above. We could see Carp Stadium from our room.
A comfortable sofa for two by the window. We often used this sofa to relax in our room👍.
Across from the sofa is a desk and chair.
If you are coming to Hiroshima on business, you will also have a space to work. I also sometimes write my blog at the hotel, so I appreciate having this kind of working space.
There was also a desk light to illuminate my hand.
When I stayed at the hotel this time, cookies were also placed on my desk.
They were elegant tea-scented cookies. These cookies can be purchased at the cafe "Bridge" on the 6th floor of the front desk.
There is also a TV next to the desk!
Bathroom
Now let's take a look at the bathroom area.
Opposite the beds are the bath, toilet, and washroom. The toilet is on the left and the bath is on the right. Each has its own door.
The washstand is a calm marble. It is spacious and can accommodate several spaces.
There are plenty of towels on the table.
Amenities were prepared on the left side of the table.
The hair dryer provided was here. I could not tell which hair dryer was used, but the air flow was sufficient!
There were no individual cosmetics or shampoos provided.
There are combs, cotton, shower caps, toothbrushes, mouthwash, body cream, and body lather nets.
The body cream was from Gilichirist & Soames, an organic brand from England. The scent was a little sour, but it was not sticky and easy to use👍.
The bathroom has a glass door. The bathroom has a small window!
The bathroom has a small window, so at night you can take a bath while looking at the night view of Hiroshima ✨.
You might be able to enjoy the view in the daytime as well.
The bathtub is also spacious, so you can enjoy a relaxing bath time!
There is no overhead shower.
There is no overhead shower. Shampoo is provided on the wall instead of individual ones.
There are also bathrobes.
Also, the "bath, toilet, and sink" space can be closed off with wooden doors so you can have your own private space👍.
What's in the minibar?
Let's take a look at the minibar area!
The door opens to a row of drawers.
The refrigerator is stocked with water, juice, cola, beer, and white wine.
The upper right drawer has wine, whiskey, and snacks.
I have included the prices for your reference.
The room is spacious and relaxing, so you can have a relaxing room drink at night 🍺.
There are a few glasses and cups available in the drawer on the left.
Also complimentary coffee and tea were in this drawer. There is no coffee machine in the room, so if you have access to the lounge, we recommend that you drink your coffee in the lounge.
Hot water heater is here.
Around the Closet
Finally, here is the closet area.
There were two spare pillows in the closet. You can replace them according to the hardness and ease of use of your favorite pillow.
There are also plenty of hangers, so you don't have to worry even when you have a lot of winter clothes.
The deodorant spray is scented with natural herbs.
The slippers are delightfully fluffy. Shoeshine cloths are also available on top of the slippers.
Trouser press and iron are also provided, so those who use the room for work can use it comfortably.
There are also cushions. Underneath is a safety box.
Instead of pajamas, yukata (Japanese bathrobe) is provided as standard.
If you want to use pajamas, you can request them and they will be provided.
There was also a light, a clothes brush, and a shoehorn.
As far as the rooms are concerned, most of what you need is provided.
